Breastfeeding rates in the U.S are on the rise.  According to a study done by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the rate of breastfeeding moms in the U.S. has risen to 77%.  More mothers are beginning to breastfeed for the correct recommended amount of time, and they are now aware of all the benefits that come along with breastfeeding.  Some of the benefits include: protection against diseases for the mom and the baby, a way to bond with the baby, a way for the baby to receive proper nutrients and antibodies, and it is also a way to save money on baby formula.
